Term one was fun. We did our topic on citizenship, get to know yourself and your communities. We did art work, inquirys, and lots more work around that topic. Another thing we did in term one was swimming. Not my favourite. The pools were cold. Freezing. But thats swimming for you I guess. Term two summary
Term two was a very busy term. We had a lot of work to do. Our topic was time for a change, ecological buildings. We did an inquiry, and a movie. The movie was really fun. I went in a group with Ella, Rosie and Giorgia. We walked around Greytown taking video clips of past, present, future. Then we put all the clips on our computer and put a movie together! It was really fun! We also did speeches, I did my speech on Billabong, the brand. If you want to see the work I did for term two go to my page, Topic term two.
Term three summary
Term three was also very busy. Filled with inquiries, ICT movies, descriptive writing, an exposition, art work, and much more. I will tell you about each individual thing I've mentioned. First up is inquires. Well...Lets just say, long story short, ICT stands for information, communication, technology. After we had learnt a bit about this with a partner; we put it into a presentation together, of our choice. Although it has to be a choice from Cool Tools For Schools website. Opps! Ours wasn't. Miss Stevens didn't seem too bothered though, with is good! We presented ours on imovie. Cool ah! We even had music to go with it which was fabulous. Next is ICT movies. We haven't actually presented them to the class yet! We originally went in groups, but then it just ended up with me and Giorgia; because no one else really seemed too bothered about it. Me and Giorgia got it done much quicker in a group of two; and we started about two weeks after everyone else, and got it finished in a jiffy. Descriptive writing...We did decriptive writing; quite a hard one picture to do actually. The picture we had to write around was a crinkly hand with what looked like a daisy. I did mine about a lonely man; who found a girl, and the girl left, leaving him lonered, picking the petals off the daisy. It was more interesting then it sounds, of course. All my work is extraordinary. Next is exposition writing. Well...I tend to gabble on and on, about the same subject when this work is presented for me. Example...It's gross! It's utterly disgusting, and I don't know why people put up with it! Secondly, the man who started this putrid, horrible...Bla bla bla. It ended up, me being pretty proud of it though! Term four was very easy breezy beautiful. My highlight was Athletics! I got third in Long jump, Regionals! We did an an awesome topic for our inquiry! Careers! I did Film actress, I know, awesome ah.
